Which once again makes me wonder why they dont start the CFL season earlier. I have never understood why they play the majority of the season in the summer which tends to support the passing game, and then by the time playoffs roll around, the game can completely change to a run game.

Benefits to starting earlier:

-potentially better playoffs weather, better crowds, more money at the gates
-starting earlier also would have less time conflicting with NFL product.

I assume I am missing something here? Stuck with tradition/canadiana?
