After last year's lightsabre (known colloquially at my house as "the daddy bashing stick") debacle, I'm interested to hear what you will be getting your kids for Christmas.
Our youngest (age 2) is getting mostly cars I think (hot wheels plus some Disney ones). Our older son (not quite 4) is a bit trickier. Probably getting some Lego juniors stuff and the rest TBD.
What will you be getting your kids? What has been the best/most unexpectedly fun gift you've done in the past?

My kids are pretty close to yours in age.
Daughter (3.5) is getting a scooter. She's been asking for one for 3 months now, ever since her older cousin came over with hers.
Son (1.5) is getting some of the usual toddler toys.
Both of my kids love the magnetic building blocks. I got sick of paying $1 a piece for them on amazon.ca, so I ordered some from aliexpress. 158 pieces for $40 or so. Hope they are decent. (
