People often use this thing called "language" to communicate to others about experiences they've had and their feelings about different things. Putting experiences and feelings into words is often messy and complicated, and people have a tendency to exaggerate or play something down, and sometimes they even lie. It's still pretty useful as a tool of communication. For example if a lot of people are saying they feel a certain way about something, it's probably a pretty common way to feel about it.
Women are known to use language, so it's not that hard to "get" women. You listen to what they say and you assume they are people.
