Admittedly I haven't had a chance to pay too much attention to the rest of the league.

But I thought the thread title either had two typos or were trying to make a joke about McDavid and Katz.

Anyways that's an unfortunate hit. MacDermid takes two big strides over to him before Kase hit the blue line. Skating down the middle... look up kid he's right in front of you. Got caught looking at his pass.
