Bennett is nowhere near Lazar territory yet. As soon as Bennett gets one goal I think we start to see a bit of resurgence. That said, time To admit defeat on Lazar. That was a terrible use of assets and keeping him the lineup is not going to change that.
Bennett was a 4th overall pick that has dominated every level of hockey he has played in until the NHL. Lazar is a plug that outworked everyone in junior. Work ethic alone won’t cut it at the NHL level.
