what? This makes no sense whatsoever. Turris scored 55 last year, which put him 29th in the NHL among centers. There are 31 teams. That's borderline first line production, and for $6 million. He's 28. Even if you were right and he scored 50 points a year, that is
excellent second line production. You will not be able to get a good second line center for less than $6 million ever again without RFA years being involved. It's all Ryan O'Reilly from now on.
Completely insane. Just about any team in the league should want Turris on this deal. Certainly the contenders, and especially Nashville, where center's a point of weakness.
