The police being aware of crimes that they can't prosecute isn't a zero value situation. You think these pedos just did this to Feldman and then stopped? If they become aware of a type of behaviour from certain individuals, I bet there's a ton of people they can talk to to find crimes that haven't exceeded the statute of limitations.

The pedos would still be armed with some of the most vicious legal teams in human history, on top of that, sexual assault in any form is super hard to prove. They don't have that protection in public opinion.
