Kulak won a spot in training camp but wasn’t exactly a standout. I got the sense he was the best option out of a generally mediocre prospect showing (many people had him behind Andersson too). Given playing time though he looks pretty decent. It makes me more hopeful that other prospects may not be as far away as they seemed in camp. I guess we’ll see if there are further injuries (knock on wood there aren’t).
