Over a small sample size of games I would say yes. Win/losses over 13 games compared to advanced stats which can be broken down into shifts. You can find statistical trends in advanced stats over the course of a couple games but until you have a much larger sample of games it is less relevant.

Advanced stats have shown to have good predictive value on the trend of a team and match the eye test coaches have been preaching for decades. Teams start winnin streaks before they start winning and start losing streaks before they start losing. Advanced stats have shown this.

12 games is hard to find any trends as there are a lot of variables that go into one game. 300 shots is much easier to identify usable statistics over the same time period.
