Today's culture parents are everywhere. I felt guilty leaving my kid at football practice to run errands when he was in Pee wee, as most of the parents stayed as if it were a game. Today's parents seem almost over involved.

When I grew up there were no where to be found. And we didn't get dropped off, we rode our bike or walked. It was normal and no one thought twice.
