is Hollywood that effed that kids are hanging with "random" adults? I go to watch my kid at hockey practice, and yeah sometimes I leave the rink to run errands - but if the coach wanted to hang out with him, I'd be asking some questions or saying yeah - the three of us can hang whenever......
I want to stress I am not blaming the kid - I am wondering why the kid was exposed to this situation - what is the parents role in this?

Hollywood culture I’m not sure, but we’re talking about theatre culture here which is entirely different. Would I blink an eye at a teenager at some sort of cast party? Absolutely not.
Then again, I also have been underage in similar situations and I wouldn’t classify my parents as poor.
