I'll admit to being pretty wishy-washy about GG but how much better could our PP be if you take Versteeg off and just load it with our top players.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Brouwer
Brodie - - - - Versteeg

should be

Tkachuk - Monahan - Gaudreau
Giordano - - - - Hamilton

Gaudreau would have more options and more time on his off wing on the powerplay. Hamitlon might not have the hardest shot but he's got the most accurate and quick wrist shot on the team from the backend. Tkachuk deserves a larger role and allows more controlled board work with him on the first unit.

The Flames aren't the most talented group in the NHL but they're much better then Versteeg and Brouwer on the first PP unit.
