They were and basically nobody listened to them because their stars fell so quickly, or maybe they fell because they were talking, they didn't name names because that would have been the end of either of them being able to make any money.
Feldman is certainly not rich, he certainly doesn't have a name that can survive coming out and naming names. The really established actors can basically step forward because they're protected by their talent and their names and they can survive naming names. But you don't see a lot of actors with credits like "Girl in washroom" or "Guy delivering pizza" really stepping forward, because naming names might be heroic as hell, but it effectively ends any hope they have of having the Hollywood dream, so they basically suffer in silence while some creep with money and prestige presents his junk and says "You know what you have to do to get this role".
You look at what Feldman has stated that Haim was raped and sodomized because that's "What happens in Hollywood" He even talked about Haim being raped on the set of Lucas.
So yeah, I don't blame Feldman at all about getting something for naming names, because at the end of the day, he has to at some point look out for himself, because he might get backslapped for naming names, or labeled as a hero for naming names, but he'll have burned his bridge on the only industry that he's made money in, and trust me his weird michael jackson tribute band thing won't pay the bills.
I'm also going to say this, Kevin Spacey is absolutely deflecting with his "coming out" thing, he tried to force himself on a 14 year old at a party when he was 26, and now he's trying to deflect news stories. Even the LBGTG community is accusing him of trying to "Hide under the Rainbow". Spacey is pretty much untouchable as well, he's too successful and too talented to be crushed by this.
But its gross.
