Who better to have practicing together than the Flames latest AHL call-up, the young player the Flames most need to get producing, and the old GOAT?
Jagr was shown to mentor both Tkachuk and Gaudreau early on when he arrived. Which forwards are doing well on this team again?

Jankowski is the ideal candidate for Jagr to mentor. He has size, reach, and skill. All things that Jagr has. All things that Jagr mentored Barkov on. Holy hell, if Jankowski becomes even a shadow of the type of player Barkov is, we won't care at ALL if Bennett tops out as a 3rd line winger.

That being said, I hope Bennett gets a LOT of time with Jagr. He needs someone to help him out right now. He's fighting everything and overthinking most things. He's trying moves that worked in junior because nothing else is working for him. He needs Jagr to calm him down and point out where to be on the ice to get the best chances.

I hope that Treliving figures out a way to keep Jankowski up here. I'm not sure he can get that kind of mentorship in Stockton. Nevermind, I KNOW he won't get that kind of mentorship in Stockton. IF they want to develop Jankowski into a top 2 center, they should keep him up.

Gaudreau-Monahan-Ferland
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Bennett-Jankowski-Jagr
Versteeg/Glass-Lazar-Brouwer
Hamilton
