It was his first year as head coach and the team had a slow start. Hartley was more vocal and better with the media but his coaching was really lackluster and I have no idea why people think his system was better than GG's. Would I prefer it if GG showed some emotion? Absolutely. Do I think his coaching will lead to more tram offence and less defensive breakdowns? Yes, and with that comes wins which is all I care about. People can gripe about last year in Anahiem all they want, I put more blame in Eliotts hands than GG's. If we get beat in anything less than 7 games in the first round or miss the playoffs this year my attitude towards him will be more like yours. Until then I will sit back and wait. We are .500 to start the year and people are calling for his head. I will never understand some people.
