Schweitzer needs to get to second place in order to win. How strong the rural support for Jean is will determine who makes it to the run off.
The whole leadership process in parties bugs me because True believers make up a much greater part of the party then the general electorate who votes for the party so Leadership candidates will swing toward more extreme options now that electability matters less than energize the base.
