In camp, out of the prospects, only Janko stepped up to get a spot. The others (aside from Dube) were not very good. So even with the Glass contract there was a spot open and I expected Janko to get it (I suspect Treliving did too). But then Jagr is available and Treliving has a choice - keep Janko up and don't sign Jagr (and hope an untested Janko pans out), or sign Jagr and let Janko know he is the first call-up and that he will be staying as soon as Treliving can make room. The latter is the most sensible route.
