I had no idea he was still alive! Whenever I heard that name I figured he was a guy that probably checked out in the 80's/90's.

Also, kinda wondering about all these death announcement topics. Many are usually in this thread, but it seems like they also creep into the main off topic forum. Maybe we need a RIP subthread to contain them all?
