I have voiced my opinion about Janko and Bennett repeatedly because I believed it was ridiculous that the team decided to not put their best team on the ice. That said I think GG has done an above average job as coach, he's had hot and cold spells with this team and I'm not gonna hold the Duck series over his head because Elliott truly #### the bed. Only thing I question is his stubbornness to not switch up the lines more in game and his use of Versteeg and Hamilton on the PP. I also won't blame him for the penalties because I do believe that's more of a player issue. I'm not really qualified enough to talk about more tactical intricacies of GG's system, I just know the Flames play a more sound game with him as coach than hartley and that the team looks more in control 5 on 5. Obviously GG has more quality to work with but still better nonetheless. This season will be a good test for GG.
