Martin Jones with the 28 save SHUTOUT as the Sharks beat the Devils 3-0. Jones last shutout was against the Devils last season. The Capitals beat the Red Wings 4-3 in OT, Ovechkin with the GWG on the PP. Soft tripping penalty call on Trevor Daley in OT. Tatar had 2 goals. Both teams combined for 78 shots with good goaltending by Holtby and Mrazek.

The Canucks win 4-2 in Buffalo and the Sabres have the worst penalty killing in the league as they have had 6 SHGs scored on them. That's brutal! The Penguins woke up and came back to beat the Panthers 4-3 in reg time.

The Jets beat the Wild 4-3 also in reg time, Laine with 2 goals and Coach Maurice gets his 600th career win. Weird scheduling, it was the Wild's first game in six days.

Just like 2 nights ago, the Habs get blown out in the 3rd period. They were in the game as they were down 3-0 and made it 3-2 after 2 periods. The Ducks explode for 3 goals in 97 seconds in the 3rd period and go on to win 6-2. Yikes, 96 shots on goal by both teams! Gibbons was terrific in net faced 51 Habs shots and the Ducks had 45 shots on Price.
