Default GAME 16: Riders vs STAMPEDERS

McMahon Stadium
Friday, October 20th
7:00 p.m. kickoff
TV: TSN, ESPN3

Stampeders can clinch first place in Western Division with the win against the Saskatchewan Roughriders tonight at McMahon Stadium.
Stamps(13-1-1) is looking for their 12th consecutive win and their 8th consecutive win at home this season.
Stamps and Riders are playing their 3rd games against each other this season. The 2 games they played against each other Stamps won both battles.

OFFENSE:

Versatile OLineman Spencer Wilson is back in the lineup after sitting out a few games due to injury. Unfortunately at the same time Stamps is going to miss a veteran receiver Marquay McDaniel due to minor injury tonight.
RB Jerome Messam usually play better against the Riders will be counted to do the same thing again.
R Marken Michel just needed 220 yards to reach the 1,000 receiving yards. He's got 3 games to do it. Michel caught 4 passes for 71 yards last week. I can see Bo Levi Mitchel using a lot tonight. Kamar Jorden is playing his second game after coming off the injury list.

DEFENSE:

Who should be the Stamps defensive player of the year this season so far? MLB Alex Singleton had 6 tackles last week and DT Micah Johnson been playing very well this season. Most surprising defensive players are LB Jameer Thurman, DE James Vaughters, rookie DB Tunde Adeleki, DB Shaquile Richardson and DE Ja'Gared Davis.

SPECIAL TEAM:

Looks like Tunde Adeleke will handle the punt return while Terry Williams will take care of the kickoff return with Roy Finch's absence for the 2nd game in a row due to injury.

************************************************** ********
Not sure if it is true or not but there was a widespread rumour that Mr. Bobblehead Duron Carter is playing secondary tonight. I guess people took the tweets seriously when Mitchel replied to Carter's tweet that he will throw 25+ passes against him. I doubt Carter will switch position tonight.

It is PINK POWER night at McMahon. Pink Power is an annual campaign to help raise funds and awareness for the battle against women's cancers. I hope everyone will support Pink Power tonight.

GO STAMPS GO!!!!!
