4 wingers in 6 games... that's my point. Thank you for making it.

Jagr is not a long term solution. If manages to have a successful contributory season on that top line, that's awesome. But that's a linear thought IMO.

Reality is that Johnny's pace is likely unsustainable and then what? Jagr is going to drive the play? Unlikely. He's a nice add and stop-gap but organizationally, long term, we need to find someone who is NHL ready and able to take on the role for top line RW but be able to play at both ends.

I'm not saying Jagr isn't good enough, for now. I'm saying he's good enough for now, but he is not a long term solution.
With everyone having Jagr fever right now, I am concerned about the post Jagr era. I hope the Flames can find someone to come in and learn this season and be able to step in next year as a top flight RW.
