Sometimes a win streak makes people forgive bad play by individual players or be blinded by it but Brouwer has been average to down right awful in every game so far. Just like he was last season.

This is why people are taking issue with your posts about Brouwer. You flat out stated that he was at best average in last night's game, but then you concede that while he was not bad, your opinion of him is coloured intensely by your own history of disappointment.

I think these two comments demonstrate quite emphatically that your thoughts and feelings about Brouwer are NOT based purely on his game-by-game performance, and are rather formed by your long, deep-seeded abhorrence of him as a player. That is the very definition of an "irrational" perspective that is informed entirely by past experiences and expectations in spite of what is actually taking place.
