Yeah, anyone who thinks healthcare spending is going anywhere but up is delusional. Provincial finance ministers have been warning for years that with an aging population, health care spending is going to relentlessly devour every provincial budget in the country. Which is why it's so ridiculous when older Canadians complain about immigration. You know why Canada needs to bring in a quarter of a million new citizens a year? To help pay for the entitlement programs that Boomers never came close to funding during their working lives.
