I started myself with no clue what I was doing, but just a little bit of googling and reading relevant subreddits I learned everything and more about putting together a PC. I put together a small list of the parts I needed, a basic case and some tools and went to memory express and they set me up and looked over my build and made recommendations of what could be better or cheaper.
Genuinely a fun and rewarding experience, and if you're not comfortable physically building it yourself memory express can do it for I think $50. You'll save hundreds compared to pre-built PCs
