If it's shaw webspace it would be high regardless Calf. I think he's uploading to a different location.
Usually my uploads with Shaw, to a server off the network, are about 80 KB/s. Daradon is right though, upload speed is a precentage of download speed. 1/8th sticks out in my mind for some reason.
