McDavid's speed is something else. Playing against some of the top players in the world and he just has another gear.
Why, why why were the Flames rolling 4 lines against McDavid? Get Backlund and Gio out there against him every chance you get. This is a consistent issue I have with GG, changing on the fly and in-game adjustments don't seem to be his thing.
Gaudreau's passes were picked off many times. Not a great performance by him. Oilers seemed to be anticipating his moves.
The Flames' dumped it repeatedly with no forward support. Edmonton went D to D and moved the puck out. This couldn't have been the game plan?
