So the play is to slap it around the boards and the winger chips it at the boards near centre. GG needs to figure out a better way to break that press or do the same to the opposition because it just turns into one long turnover.
Another thing is CGY never makes short passes from d to centre and up through the middle, nor do you see a Brodie or Hamilton skate the puck up and create that extra layer that allows a zone entry. Instead the usually go d to d and then fire it up to guys standing still and they just chip it. Failing that it's just rim it off the glass.
Zone exits and zone entries suck right now. It needs to be short passes hitting guys in stride and getting through the neutral zone with speed and possession.
That crap tonight was god awful to watch.

They never head man the puck with this system. This notion they skate as a 5 player unit is not true. Way more icings than Hartley's system.
