I've been asking myself this since last season.... Is Johnny overrated?

Since that new contract if we average out his gameplay consider he's a "superstar" he has been invisible. I personally don't think he's an elite player.

Is Monohan our star? I personally think he's our best player however he is not elite?

Is our problem we don't have that one elite player we can lean on when times get rough that most Stanley cup championship teams have?

I think the depth Edmonton has is not that good at all, but they have a McDavid. That one player makes a huge difference. Who is our star in the clutch?
