You can see the mountains from many places in Calgary ,even the eastside, and even east of Calgary.

Closest water is the Hudson's Bay, I kid. Lake Winnipeg.

We have manmade lakes. Lake Chestemere is an irrigation lake that gets its water from the Bow and dishes it off to a bunch of farmers south east of us.

Lake Chestemere has nice big houses of all price ranges.
And your neighbour might be running a grow-up so you don't have to go far for your,.... ahhh you know.

Price difference ? 300,000 to a million on the eastside.
300,000 to 10 million on the westside.

There are lots of different districts ,little towns,villages,etc about to be swallowed by Calgary in all directions.
