Why does this keep getting said? That was Hartley's quote. Last time I checked, Hartley was no longer employed by the organization. If fact, I haven't heard management use this quote a since the day he left.
Sure it sucks Jankowski got sent down. But it's a numbers game right now and he'll be back before too long, and likely will stay in the NHL until the day he retires. What's a couple more days, after waiting 5 years for his debut?
