Tom Petty was a big reason I wanted the Rickenbacker guitar on the cover of
Damn The Torpedoes. (which was actually Mike Campbell's ultra-rare Chocolateburst 12-string). Such a cool jangly sound. Ended up getting a Turquoise Rickenbacker 12-stringer when I was much older.
Petty (well, the Beatles and Birds too) is why I wanted a Ricky.
