No it doesn't. Just because you believe Engelland was a punt doesn't mean it was. Defense is more important and valuable than forward. Engelland was one of the few defensemen available who brings a nice combination of toughness and leadership. Plenty of reasons why Engelland was more valuable to Vegas. And really that doesn't mean anything about Stajan or Brouwer's league wide value.
