I calculated it out that it will be a home game vs Vegas on Jan 30th that the record will be broken. The game before in Edmonton will be when he ties. This is assuming that Jagr plays each game. I gambled and got tickets to the Vegas game a couple weeks ago, hoping in my heart he would sign

This will likely be the biggest NHL record we ever see broken for the rest of our lives. Safe to say Gretzky's offensive record will never be touched. But all time games played? We'll likely never see this broken for as long as we live.
Already super pumped for that game! (assuming Jagr plays all games until then)
