No gun control will come from this. Politicians and talking heads will all espouse that we need to think about the person committing the crime, and do a deep internal look at what we value most. So basically nothing but a platitude as a mechanism for "change".
The US' love for guns seems like the equivalent of a heroin addict who sees all his friends' lives ruined by it, but an inability to have inner reflection and self-directed "change" is the problem, not the heroin itself.
