So only 100 or so more rankings points to lose for Genie and she has to qualify for Australia, so it'll be interesting to see her approach for the rest of the year tournament wise. Also abundantly clear she put her entire year into beating Maria in an utterly meaningless match. Hope it was worth it, and I'm guessing to her it was since it allowed her to smack talk Maria, the same Maria who will probably end up with more match wins than Genie this year, despite playing in far fewer tournaments.
