CPHL Biography #5 - Flambers
Flambers – 28 is enough.
Retired Military, civil liberties advocate. Born Jeff Lawrence Claxton Philipoff, on November 1, 1978, in Resolute, Northwest Territories (now Nunavut). He was the eldest of three children. In 1984, tragedy struck when his four-year-old sister died of seal bite complications. A year later, the Flambers family unit began to disintegrate. Flambers’ parents, Poindexter and Edith, separated; his brother, Rocky, stayed with his maternal grandparents; and Flambers moved with his mother to Munchie, Indiana.
In his early teens (under a false age), Flambers spent a year in the U.S. Army as a shooting range target holder until he was discharged because of obesity (he became too easy to hit). He then joined his mother in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he held various jobs, including one at a Bowflex Assembly Plant. It is here that Flambers changed his life for good. Dropping an amazing 137 pounds, he was now in the best shape of his life at 182 lbs. Flambers grew frustrated with his job, and sought the familiar comfort of the military. This time he enlisted in the Navy. He eventually landed an esteemed position aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise as the Poopdeck Manager.
After a five-year stint in the Navy, Flambers returned to Munchie (1999), where he bought a local bar and transformed it into a successful male strip club. Within a year he expanded business, opening similar clubs in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Gary & Fort Wayne.
During the next few years, Flambers life became a whirlwind of flashy clubs, cars, and partners. He had fathered four children (all by different mothers) by 2002. Around this time, he also met a 17-year-old dancer named Amanda Rockbottom, who became his most trusted advisor, eventually managing his 300 male dancers and 28 strip clubs. The couple married in 2004.
Currently Flambers has relocated to New York and has accepted the position of General Manager for the New York Rangers. His experience with male strippers has been a great fit with the Rangers as all team functions are clothing optional.
