Agreed. If they paid $20k to people living in Mount Royal, who didn't own the land or have a lease, those Mount Royal residents would have done rather well. Also, if the Mayfair/Bel Aire compensation seems a bit shady and undeserved (which it does), this does not justify offering a similar deal to the residents of Midfield.
