I can't believe the vitriol towards Wotherspoon, even if he never makes the jump to the NHL he's a top 2 in the AHL and gives all of our developing propects stability, professionalism, and an increased chance at success in Stockton. I could understand if Wotherspoon wanted out to be given an opportunity somewhere else, but I think he still holds value for the Flames organization. Similarly, Shinkaruk will be a veteran in Stockton and expected to carry some of the offensive load, as far as keeping a young AND competitive farm team, Hunter still has value.
