Surprised Gazdic was also not on waivers. Maybe since he's a veteran they are showing him some more respect and will wait until later to waive him. Or they plan on using him as the #14 forward giving him an occasional game.
Poirier has to prove himself in the AHL again before he gets another shot. Wasn't impressed by him last night.
I've given up on Shinkaruk. Not skilled enough for the top 6 and he doesn't fit on the bottom 6. I think he could do well in the KHL.
Wotherspoon is a solid defenseman in the AHL, but his game is just meh in the NHL. Probably will not be qualified next season.
I know some are disappointed that Bartowski is not waived, but having him as the #7 guy instead of Kulak and Andersson would make the most sense.
