Why would losing Sekera matter? You've stated numerous times that McDavid and Talbot are the only good players on the team.
If Sekera isn't good, his loss shouldn't matter.
Also, where are you getting your numbers from?
The only place I can find them is Natural stat trick.
That site has Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Chicago, Columbus, and NYR all in the bottom ten for High Danger Scoring chances against.
That's 5 of last year's top ten teams during the regular season. I don't think I would say those teams were all poor defensively last season.
