Well, its almost certainly a money issue, my mom volunteers with the Girl Guides in Calgary and goes to Lloyd's something like 2-3 times a year and its almost shockingly cheap to take 20 girls there.

But its also likely a cultural thing. Who roller-skates anymore? Who is going to pay to do it?

It a shame though, Lloyd's has been a Calgary institution since the time of the Dinosaurs.

My guess: The Rent/Property Taxes in that location are alarmingly high.
