Sure. No argument there. But Gaudreau can finish too, and I think Bennett can open up the ice more for Gaudreau and allow him to be more of a goal scorer. Add in that Bennett can finish off rebounds just as good as Monahan.
There's an undeniable chemistry between Bennett and Gaudreau. Why do people want to sell that short? And splitting up Monny and Johnny diversifies talent and gives teams more lines to focus on.
Bennett needs better wingers, Bennett can succeed in the scenario I'm presenting. And Monahan can make Tkachuk better too, and maybe someone like Versteeg or Jankowski.
