The above is so true I have to quote it. What the Flames call "Plan B" is in actually "Plan A"... a better "Plan A" actually since they'll be getting more out of it then they said they were seeking. I wonder if they have buyers remorse over the Stampeders... getting the Stamps is what caused a big shift in their wants away from an arena deal and into the montrosity of CalgaryNext.

Well... 9.5 years. That's the first out and out lie I can spot. The arena will cost above the $$ range they were talking about earlier then that but after 12 years of inflation I can buy that it was true at the time.
