Bottom line is Air Transat is at fault. They are the ones who should pay for the mistake and make things right with their paying customers.

You can't tell me you wouldn't be ****ed if this happened to you whether you were getting married or not. How badly do you want to spend one of your hard earned vacation days in an Airport when you have been looking forward to the beaches of Mexico?

If they didn't have another plane sitting around waiting perhaps they need to hire WestJet or some other airline to take these people to Mexico. There wasn't even anyone from Air Transat at the Airport to tell them what was going on or when their flight would be taking off again. That is brutal customer service.
I agree. See my earlier post on Air Transat. I'm leaving for Mexico on Friday and I'll completely ****ed if something like this happened, but I'd be way more ****ed if they were too worried about getting everyone to Puerto Vallarta on time and completely ****ed on all the safety concerns. You can't have your cake and eat it too. My main problem with Air Transat at this is that there was obviously some shoddy maintenance work done that caused this problem.
