It's a lot of work and expense to have to completely replan a wedding. Especially a destination wedding, especially when it isn't your fault.
Bottom line is Air Transat is at fault. They are the ones who should pay for the mistake and make things right with their paying customers.
You can't tell me you wouldn't be ****ed if this happened to you whether you were getting married or not. How badly do you want to spend one of your hard earned vacation days in an Airport when you have been looking forward to the beaches of Mexico?
If they didn't have another plane sitting around waiting perhaps they need to hire WestJet or some other airline to take these people to Mexico. There wasn't even anyone from Air Transat at the Airport to tell them what was going on or when their flight would be taking off again. That is brutal customer service.
