For the love of Pete, people, slow down!
Listen, I know a lot of 'seasoned' drivers out there get frustrated when the snow falls, and a number of people 'forget how to drive'. Some people seem to feel that it is their responsibility to drive faster in worse conditions to prove that they are good drivers, or that they aren't afraid of standard winter conditions.
Well, last Wednesday a good friend of mine lost the child she was carrying, and is in the Foothills ICU with countless broken bones throughout her body, just because some punk thought nothing would go wrong while doing 120 along HWY 2 in winter conditions. Turns out he's not invincible, and neither are the other folks on the road. He lost control, flew over the median and slammed into my friend's vehicle.
I understand that the guys doing 60km/h are frustrating, but please don't think you're invincible, just because you've never been in an accident before. You never know when you're going to hit that patch of black ice. Please take it easy and make it home alive.
