I am almost obsessed with knowing where people are from (ie born) and making sure I know exactly where it is physically. It is something I've wanted to know about every person I've ever met.

Ghost towns are something I would spend a lot of time and money on if I had the time and money. Specifically, ghost towns that aren't famous or preserved as a sort of living museum. You know, the places you have to find out about from locals who have been to them or even just heard about them. That sort of history fascinates me to no end. It is amazing where people would build towns in the 19th century. Crazies!

David Lynch gets me too Jiri. Twin Peaks, yeah, but the rest too. Blue Velvet is a great movie. I just love the disturbing wierdness of it all. He can make something horrific so beautiful. Remember the scene in Wild At Heart where they come up on the car wreck? Sherilyn Fenn's character is in shock and dying and I couldn't help but think how freaking beautiful the scene was. Plus, he's a native Montanan!
