I'm not sure its a huge blow.
All of the sudden Cincinnatti and Jacksonville look like they maybe staying home in January. I mean the Bengals have to go to New Orleans this week. They ain't winning that game. Talk is that Leftwich may be out for the year...and Garrard was horrible today at home against Houston.
Right now it's Jacksonville and the Jets that are with the Chiefs for the second wild card. Looking at schedules, the Chiefs doesn't look so bad. If they can win against Denver or San Diego and then take care of business in the rest of the games (games they should clearly win IMO) they might just do it.
Still, a win today and they would have been sitting pretty with a little more wiggle room.
