You're right. Billionaires are much more ruthless and extract way better deals that some mouthbreather trying to buy a car. Billionaires are billionaires because they know how to extract the most out of a deal. They have teams of people working to make sure they get the best deal. Suggesting that someone with a hockey team is going to come to Calgary and sign on the dotted line without trying to bend the City over is just denial of reality. Depending on the situation, and the economic climate at the time, the City may be be lucky to get an Edmonton-level deal. Why would anyone pay more if they have the leverage?
